A few kind words about our Gilbert Care Home

My name is Patrice Kreitler and I am writing to let the community know what a wonderful caring place Majestic Rose Assisted Living is. My mom Isabella Famiglietti was a resident there for 4 years and just recently passed away. I am certain that if it were not for the excellent care provided to my mom all these years she would have died a lot sooner.
When Choosing a home to place your loved one so many emotions and concerns go through your mind and with Rose and Ted the owners as well as all the caregivers I was at peace every day. Rose, is an RN and being an RN myself I valued her expertise and she is very knowledgeable in knowing the critical needs of all the residents and how best to care for all of their disease processes. Her critical thinking skills are superb and my mother never was in pain, always had excellent skin and was always clean and well groomed whenever I went over to visit her. Ted, on the other hand is always available to answer your questions and spends quality time with each resident every day. My mom used to be afraid of men and she adored Ted because he gave her social attention every day.
Both Rose and Ted are always available for conferences and they make sure that every caregiver is given additional education and support so that they are able to perform there jobs. They have a physician Dr. Tully who visits the residents there and he too is excellent in all the care he provided my mother over the years.
I can't say enough about this wonderful assisted living. It is clean, comfortable and has many wonderful daily activities for socialization. The food is excellent and my mother right up until the end enjoyed every meal there.
If you are thinking about a home to place your loved one, I highly recommend Majestic Rose. There is no place better in Arizona. Your family member becomes their family. I will always be grateful to Majestic Rose for the care they provided to my mom.

When my mother needed a level of care that went beyond what her residence offered, we did our research on what would be the best option for her. Private care was a possibility but she didn't want to have someone sharing her space around the clock. At Majestic Rose we found a terrific arrangement that allowed her to have a room of her own, have full time care and have the upside of a small group of other people to interact with. Rose and Ted give their all to making Majestic Rose a lovely place to live. Rose's professional medical expertise, as a nurse, is extremely valuable. She makes it her mission to catch health issues before they become major problems. My mother's health improved significantly under Rose's attention. She ate better, took regular walks, and also used her computer with the help of the very capable staff. Ted is right on top of the house management and makes sure things run smoothly and that there is a light hearted, kind atmosphere present. Together their commitment to improving the lives of anyone who stays there is remarkable. Majestic Rose has a combination of professionalism and heart that is very, very special. Without a doubt it was the best choice for my mother and we as a family are extremely thankful for the difference that Ted, Rose and the wonderful caretakers made in her life.

Our mother, Lois Lee, was fortunate enough to be a resident of The Majestic Rose Care Home for the last 6 months of her life. We had moved our mom from a very unsavory and unsafe group home to the amazing and loving atmosphere of the Majestic Rose. All group homes are not created equal!
First and foremost, the medical care is outstanding. Rose is on top of even the slightest change in health issues and always follows up with the proper treatment and appropriate questions to medical personnel. The meals and snacks are homemade, delicious and of the highest quality. The residents are asked for their input as to menus and mealtime is flexible for those who need it. The home itself is new, very clean and beautiful; there is a lovely park and lake within walking distance.
Every resident is made to feel valued and included in daily life at all times. Rose believes that it’s important for each individual to look their best because it affects their general outlook on life. The women are always dressed beautifully with hair styled and make-up carefully applied. Rose takes a lot of pride in ensuring that each resident receives this personal attention.
Ted and the caregivers are compassionate, patient, well-trained and concerned. They offer many different activities each day to engage the residents. There is also a great sense of respect, friendship and goodwill among the residents towards each other and my mother was very comfortable there. Family and visitors are encouraged and made to feel welcome at all times.
During the months my mother spent at The Majestic Rose she always felt well-cared for and loved just as if she was part of the family…and indeed she was. Her final days were dignified, with constant attention and without pain, which made her passing very peaceful for her as well as for our family. My only wish for my precious mother was that she could have spent more of her final years instead of only months in this incredibly warm and loving home.

"I can't thank you enough for the kindness, patience, tenderness and just plain goodness to Jim as he struggled that last week of his life. We appreciate your kindness to my family. You all made our days better by comforting us and again comforting Jim when he needed it the most.

I know everyone will take this road one day, I can only hope it will be with the help of someone as caring as you."

“We received a donation today in honor of Rose Ontiberos and the excellent care she gave to June while she was in the inpatient unit. Now, the most unusual and noteworthy thing is that June is still an active patient of ours in the field. Her family was just so impressed by Rosa and the inpatient unit that they wanted to give to it now so any others who need it can have that experience. Please take a few minutes to say how much we appreciate her and her kind and compassionate care that is touching lives everyday.”
Julia - Hospice Administrator

“When are you going to open up Rose’s Place?”

"It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Rose Ontiberos, RN, with whom I worked at Christian Care Nursing center in Phoenix, Arizona.  I am the Medical Director at Christian Care and my interactions with Rose have been primarily while she worked weekends covering my patients.

I have always found Rose able to give very good assessments on any of my patients.  When contacted, she was always ready with relevant information including clinical context, latest developments, and current laboratory data.  She also carried out physician orders very well and was able to give the follow-up progress reports easily.  Rose's interactions with me were always professional and timely, and I never had any quality of care concerns when she was taking care of my patients.

In summary, it is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Rose Ontiberos, RN, whom I feel would be a very good addition to any medical group fortunate to have her."
